
Cornwall is a rural locality in Tasmania's Break O'Day region, approximately 44 km southwest of St Helens. Surrounded entirely by St Marys, it offers a tranquil setting with a population of 65 as of the 2016 census. The area is characterized by its natural beauty and proximity to the Tasman Sea. Cornwall is accessible via Cornwall Road, which connects to Route A4 (Esk Main Road) to the south. The locality was gazetted in 1973 and named by Governor King in 1804 after Cornwall in Britain.
