Corker trail

Embark on the challenging Corker Trail, a 20km return journey through Barrington Tops National Park's rugged terrain. Starting at Lagoon Pinch picnic area, the trail ascends to Careys Peak, offering panoramic views of snow gum woodlands, grassy plains, and swamps. The path winds through diverse vegetation, including tall open woodlands, lush rainforest, and Antarctic beech stands. This Grade 4 track is designed for experienced bushwalkers with the ability to navigate steep gradients and limited signage. Ensure you carry sufficient water, as water sources are scarce along the ridges. Picnic facilities are available at Lagoon Pinch, while Wombat Creek campground on Barrington Plateau provides toilets and camping amenities. Please note, this trail is for walkers only; cycling is not permitted.
