The Copper Coast Resource Recovery Centre, located at 14 Recycle Way, Wallaroo, SA 5556, is a licensed transfer station that opened to the public on July 1, 2014. It accepts a variety of non-hazardous waste, including food and green organics, firewood, cans, bottles, scrap metal, mattresses, and tyres. The centre also manages hazardous waste such as batteries, e-waste, light globes, household chemicals, and oils. Residents are entitled to two free deliveries of green waste and one free delivery of hard waste, each up to 175 kg, per financial year. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, and weekends from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The centre is closed on public holidays.
