Established in the mid-1860s, it has played a significant role in the development of the region's pastoral industry. The station features a single-storey stone and iron homestead with a detached kitchen, reflecting its historical significance. In 1998, the homestead was placed on the State Register of Heritage Places, recognizing its importance in the area's history.
