Malkumba-Coongie Lakes National Park, located near Innamincka in South Australia's far north, is a pristine water world featuring channels, waterholes, lakes, internal deltas, shallow floodplains, and interdune corridors. Designated as a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance, it serves as a significant feeding, resting, and breeding site for numerous migratory birds. The park also hosts a diverse range of wildlife, including fish, reptiles, and frogs. Visitors can enjoy camping, canoeing, photography, bushwalking, and exploring Aboriginal history amidst the serene wetlands. Please note that motorboats, campfires, fishing, and generators are not permitted to preserve the natural environment.
