Designated as a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance, it serves as a significant feeding, resting, and breeding site for numerous migratory birds. The park also hosts a diverse range of wildlife, including fish, reptiles, and frogs. Visitors can enjoy camping, canoeing, photography, bushwalking, and exploring Aboriginal history amidst the serene wetlands.
