
Coominglah State Forest, located approximately 220 km west of Bundaberg and 19 km north of Monto, Queensland, is a haven for nature enthusiasts. Spanning over 41,000 hectares, it features diverse ecosystems, including Queensland's largest semi-evergreen vine thicket, Hurdle Gully Scrub, which shelters 18 threatened species. Visitors can enjoy activities such as four-wheel driving, cycling, and horse riding along scenic trails. The Hurdle Gully Lookout offers panoramic views of Three Moon Creek and the Mulgildie Plateau. Please note, camping is not permitted within the forest.
