Cooljarloo, also known as Cooljarloo Well, is a location in Western Australia, approximately 170 kilometers north of Perth and about ten kilometers north of Cataby. It is primarily recognized for housing a significant mineral sands deposit, which is mined by the Tiwest Joint Venture. The area is characterized by its rural setting and is part of the Shire of Dandaragan. The Cooljarloo mineral sand mine, owned by Tronox Limited, extracts titanium mineral deposits from the ancient former shoreline in the Gingin, Lancelin region.
