The Coolgardie Visitors Centre & Goldfields Exhibition Museum, located in the historic Warden's Court Building on Bayley Street, offers a captivating journey into the region's gold rush era. The museum showcases a diverse collection of photographs, models, and authentic mining equipment, including one of Australia's largest antique bottle displays, with items dating from 300 BC to the present. Visitors can also explore the Varischetti Mine Rescue exhibit, detailing the remarkable 1907 rescue of Modesto Varischetti, and the Waghorn Bottle Collection, renowned for its extensive array of antique bottles. The Visitors Centre provides information on local attractions and businesses, making it an ideal starting point for exploring Coolgardie. Open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm, and weekends from 10 am to 2 pm, the museum is closed on public holidays. Admission fees are $5 for adults, $2 for seniors, and $3 for children under 16.
