Opened on March 23, 1896, the Coolgardie Railway Station was once a bustling hub, connecting Coolgardie to Perth with daily trains. Constructed from local stone and brick, the station's design mirrors other period railway stations in Western Australia. Passenger services ceased on November 28, 1971, with the last train farewelled by the community. Today, the station houses a recording studio for regional artists, breathing new life into this historic building. Visitors can view the old locomotive and carriages from the platform at the back of the station.
