Coolgardie Community Recreation Centre

The Coolgardie Community Recreation Centre, located on Sylvester Street, offers a variety of facilities to the local community. The centre features an indoor court suitable for basketball, netball, volleyball, and badminton, as well as a public library with free book exchange services. Community resources include public computers, printing and scanning services, a boardroom, and teleconferencing facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. A 24-hour access gym is available for members, with casual visits permitted during working hours for non-members. Additional amenities include showers, a large function room that can be divided into two smaller rooms, a commercial kitchen, an outdoor play area with a sandpit for children, and a drop-in sitting area in the foyer and library. Adjacent to the centre is the Coolgardie Skate Park, featuring a skate bowl and a toddler bike area. The centre also houses the Shire administration counter for rates, dog registrations, building payments, and inquiries, operating from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
