
Coolart Historic Homestead, established in 1895, is a late Victorian mansion overlooking formal gardens and wetlands. The homestead features historic photographs and letters, offering insights into its past. Surrounding the homestead are formal gardens designed in 1938, featuring native and exotic plants, perfect for a stroll or a picnic. The wetlands are home to a breeding colony of over 1,000 Australian white ibises, while koalas, swamp wallabies, and echidnas inhabit the woodlands. Visitors can enjoy walking tracks, bird hides, and picnic facilities. The park is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
