
Condowie is a small rural locality in South Australia's Mid North region, approximately 135 kilometers north of Adelaide. The name "Condowie" is derived from an Aboriginal word meaning "good water." Historically, it served as a stop on the Brinkworth–Kadina railway line, which operated from 1894 until its closure in 1990. The area is predominantly agricultural, with a population of around 62 residents. Condowie is situated near neighboring towns such as Snowtown, Brinkworth, and Blyth, offering a tranquil rural lifestyle amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Mid North.
