Community Room Margaret Whitlam Center

The Community Room at the Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre in Waverley Park offers a spacious, bright, and airy environment suitable for various events, including functions, low-impact exercise classes, meetings, workshops, and training seminars. Measuring 13m x 14.5m, it accommodates up to 120 standing or 90 seated guests. The room is equipped with 90 chairs, 20 trestle tables, a projector, projector screen, lectern, wireless microphone, and laptop connectivity. An adjoining commercial-sized kitchen is available for hire, featuring a large gas oven, microwave, pie warmer, dishwasher, double fridge, and ice-making machine. The venue operates Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 10 pm, and Friday to Sunday from 7 am to 12 am. Accessibility features include accessible pathways, entrances, and toilets. Parking is limited to on-street spaces around Waverley Park.
