Located at 280 Flinders Street in Townsville, the Community Information Centre (CIC) has been a vital resource for over 45 years, offering a comprehensive range of services to connect, inform, and assist the local community. Visitors can access various resource directories, including Community, Learning, Recreation, Venues, and a Creative and Performing Artists Registry, both online and in print. The CIC also provides meeting rooms for hire, a fortnightly community newsletter, and volunteer opportunities. Additional services encompass JP services, assistance with forms and resumes, and hosting community events. The centre is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is wheelchair accessible.
