Located in Kwinana Town Centre, Communicare's OpenSpace program offers free, confidential counselling and support services to young people aged 12 to 24 who have experienced family and domestic violence. Through individual counselling, mentoring, therapeutic group work, and peer support development, OpenSpace aims to enhance safety, promote positive mental health, and foster community connections. The program operates a holistic case management approach, focusing on multiple areas of a young person's wellbeing. OpenSpace is funded by the Government of Western Australia, Department of Communities.
