Commissariat Point is a coastal locality in South Australia's Far North region, situated approximately 270 km north-northwest of Adelaide and 11 km south of Port Augusta. Overlooking Spencer Gulf, it encompasses a 13 km stretch of bedrock-dominated coastline, featuring sandy and gravel beaches interspersed with mangroves and rocky deltas. The area is dotted with beachfront shacks, many equipped with small jetties, accessible via a gravel military road and a network of vehicle tracks. To the west lies the Cultana Training Area, a military training facility used by the Australian Army. Commissariat Point is part of the federal division of Grey, the state electoral district of Stuart, and the local government area of the City of Port Augusta.
