Colo Meroo Campground

Nestled in Wollemi National Park, Colo Meroo Campground offers a secluded retreat for experienced campers. Accessible only by foot, the campground is approximately 2.5 to 8 kilometers from various trailheads, depending on the chosen route. Set on grassy flats just 100 meters from the Colo River, it provides a serene environment surrounded by striking sandstone cliffs. Basic facilities include non-flush toilets, picnic tables, and wood barbecues (firewood not provided). Visitors should bring all necessary supplies, as there is no drinking water or rubbish disposal on-site. A $6 booking fee applies, with no camping fees.
