Located approximately 100 kilometers from Bowen in Queensland's Bowen Basin, Collinsville Open Cut is Queensland's oldest existing coal mine, producing thermal and coking coal for both overseas and domestic markets. The mine employs 370 individuals and produced 2,247,000 tonnes of saleable product in 2023. As part of the NC Coal Company Pty Ltd, 100% owned by Glencore, Collinsville Open Cut is committed to engaging with the local community and has invested in initiatives such as the Collinsville Physical Education and Sports Project and the Collinsville Childcare facility.
