Cobar Youth & Community Centre

The Cobar Youth & Community Centre, affectionately known as 'The Youthie,' serves as a vibrant hub for the Cobar community, offering a safe and supervised environment for meetings, events, recreation, health and wellbeing, sports, and socializing. The facility features a kiosk, games room, Bruce Mitchell Stadium, squash courts, Harry Marshall Gymnasium, tennis courts, restrooms, sauna, skate park, and youth café. A recent renovation has enhanced its accessibility and functionality, including the addition of a lift to access the upstairs gym and multipurpose community room. The centre's distinctive green paint connects it to the adjacent park, creating an oasis in contrast to the surrounding red landscape.
