Established in July 2009, this area is renowned for its extensive Aboriginal midden deposits, offering valuable insights into continuous coastal occupation by Aboriginal people. The site also features diverse littoral rainforest communities, coastal wetlands, and estuarine environments, supporting a variety of plant and animal species. Clybucca serves as an important meeting and sharing place for the Gumbaynggir and Dunghutti nations, holding significant cultural and spiritual value.
