Located in South Australia's mid-north, the Clements Gap Wind Farm comprises 27 Suzlon S88 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.1 MW, totaling 56.7 MW. Operational since February 2010, it generates enough clean electricity to power approximately 33,000 homes annually, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 154,000 tonnes each year. The site was chosen for its consistent winds, ease of construction, and strong community support. In 2024, construction began on a 60 MW Battery Energy Storage System at the site, enhancing grid stability and supporting South Australia's renewable energy targets.
