Located in South Australia's mid-north, approximately 20 km northeast of Port Broughton, Clements Gap Wind Farm comprises 27 Suzlon S88 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.1 MW, totaling 56.7 MW. Since its commissioning in February 2010, it has been generating enough clean electricity to power around 33,000 homes annually, while reducing approximately 154,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions each year. The wind farm's construction created over 400 local jobs across various sectors. Adjacent to the wind farm, a 60 MW Battery Energy Storage System is under construction, aiming to enhance grid stability and support South Australia's renewable energy targets.
