Experience farm life as it was over a century ago at the faithfully restored Clayton Farm Heritage Museum in Bordertown, South Australia. Explore historic buildings, including the homestead dating back to 1885 and the woolshed built in 1901—the largest thatched-roof woolshed in the Southern Hemisphere. Wander through the homestead, furnished with original items left by the Wiese family, and view an extensive collection of restored farm machinery and stationary engines. The museum offers guided tours, providing insights into the area's rich agricultural history. Entry fees are $10 for adults, $7 for pensioners, and $2 for children. The museum is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11 am to 4 pm, and Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm.
