Established in 1857, Christ Church Yankalilla is among South Australia's earliest Anglican churches. The church features numerous stained glass windows of historical significance, creating a serene environment for prayer and meditation. Notable artworks by Barbara Robertson and Pro Hart adorn the interior. In August 1994, an image resembling the Virgin Mary appeared on the church wall, leading to the establishment of the Shrine of Our Lady of Yankalilla in 1996. The church is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, welcoming visitors and pilgrims alike.
