Chiton Rocks SLSC

Established in 1957, Chiton Rocks Surf Life Saving Club is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to ensuring beach safety along the South Coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Operating from November through March, the club offers surf lifesaving services to both locals and visitors. Members undergo annual training to maintain proficiency in first aid and rescue techniques, adhering to standards set by Surf Life Saving Australia and Surf Life Saving South Australia. The club boasts a vibrant Junior Development program, fostering the next generation of surf lifesavers. Additionally, it provides bunkhouse accommodation for up to 36 people, making it an ideal base for school camps, team training, and end-of-season trips. The club's facilities include a bar, dining room, and a large balcony overlooking the beach, offering a welcoming environment for members and visitors alike.
