This picturesque site, once cultivated by Chinese market gardeners during the gold rush era, provides unpowered camping options suitable for tents, camper trailers, and small caravans. Amenities include clean toilets, hot showers (operated by $1 coins), a laundry facility, and free electric BBQs. The campground is divided into two sections: the South Side, accessible to 2WD vehicles, and the North Side, accessible by 4WD only. Bookings are essential, with check-in between 10 am and 4 pm daily. Please note, the campground is closed annually between Queen's Birthday weekend and the start of the September school holidays for maintenance.
