Established in 1880, Chiltern Cemetery is managed by a dedicated Trust comprising eight local community members under the auspices of the Department of Health. The cemetery features designated sections for various denominations, including Church of England, Catholic, Wesleyan, Presbyterian, Jewish, and Chinese, as well as a lawn section and two ashwalls for cremated ashes. It is open for pedestrian access 24 hours a day, with vehicle access available on Sundays and special days between 10 am and 3 pm.
