Chaverim Shalom College Outdoor & Environment Centre, established in 2001, is an outdoor education and environment centre located less than half an hour southwest of Bundaberg. Situated on 175 acres along the Burnett River, the centre offers group accommodation facilities and outdoor education programs to schools, church and community groups, sports teams, and other organisations in the region. The property comprises three comfortable accommodation buildings, a large dining and kitchen area, and two conference rooms. Adventure activity programs are designed and delivered by qualified and experienced outdoor education instructors. Activities may include high ropes courses, low ropes courses, team building activities, canoeing, abseiling, climbing wall, and a covered basketball court. Chaverim provides fully catered stays with adventure activity program options or self-organised programs. Costs vary depending upon the length of stay and activity options required.
