Charles Knife Canyon

Located 22 kilometers south of Exmouth, Charles Knife Canyon offers a winding road ascending to the top of Cape Range, providing breathtaking views of rugged terrain and Exmouth Gulf. Along the route, visitors can stop at car parks and picnic areas before reaching the Thomas Carter Lookout. From here, the Badjirrajirra Walk Trail begins—a Class 4, six-kilometer return loop taking approximately three hours. This moderately difficult trail traverses rocky gullies, small gorges, and open spinifex bushland, showcasing the diverse landscapes of the region.
