Nestled within Carss Bush Park, the Carss Park Artist's Cottage is a charming sandstone building constructed in 1865 by Scottish emigrant William Carss. Overlooking Kogarah Bay, it now serves as a museum operated by the Kogarah Historical Society, showcasing artifacts and photographs that highlight the area's rich history. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring local heritage, including a model of the original cottage, period furniture, and personal items from the Carss family. The museum is open on Sundays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm during summer and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm during winter, with other times available by appointment. Admission is $5.00 for adults, with accompanying children free, and $2.00 for students.
