Carosue Dam Village is a remote locality situated approximately 160 kilometers east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia's Goldfields-Esperance region. The area is primarily known for the Carosue Dam Gold Mine, which has been operational since 2000 and is currently managed by Northern Star Resources. The mine has undergone several ownership changes and expansions over the years, including the addition of a 5MW solar power station in June 2022 to reduce emissions. The village serves as a support hub for mining operations, providing accommodations and amenities for workers and visitors. Its remote location offers a unique outback experience, with access to the surrounding natural landscapes and the opportunity to witness the operations of a significant gold mining facility.
