Cardwell Spa Pool

Located in Cardwell, Queensland, the Cardwell Spa Pool is a naturally-fed seasonal creek renowned for its striking blue waters, a result of the unique mineral composition of the rocks and water. The pool's color varies from bright baby blue to milky blue, depending on the time of day and sunlight. Accessible via Brasenose Street, the pool is approximately a 10-minute drive from the town center along a sealed and unsealed road. Visitors can enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool, clear waters, surrounded by lush rainforest. Please note, the area has limited facilities, so it's advisable to bring essentials and take all rubbish with you. The best time to visit is from May to September, as the wet season rains can flush the creek, returning it to normal levels from around March each year.
