Cape Pillar, located on Tasmania's southeastern coast, is renowned for its towering dolerite cliffs that rise up to 300 meters above the Tasman Sea. Accessible via the Cape Pillar Track, this 23-kilometer return journey offers hikers diverse ecological habitats and breathtaking coastal views. The trail begins near the Fortescue Bay campground and connects with the Three Capes Track at Tornado Ridge. Along the way, visitors can camp at Bare Knoll, which provides tent platforms and toilet facilities.
