Cape Jaffa Lighthouse Cottages

Nestled within the Bernouilli Conservation Park at Cape Jaffa, the Old Lighthouse Cottages offer a glimpse into the lives of 19th-century lightkeepers. Built in 1872, these cottages once housed families who maintained the lighthouse on the Margaret Brock Reef. Today, visitors can explore the ruins via the Bush Track, a 2 km return walk that immerses them in the area's rich maritime history. The trail provides stunning views of the original lighthouse platform, now home to a thriving colony of Australasian gannets.
