Nestled in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest, Camp Daintree offers a tranquil retreat for serving and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force, First Responders, and their families. While still in development, the camp provides basic facilities, including powered and unpowered campsites, with plans for ensuite sites, cabins, a camp kitchen, communal fire pit, and group activity areas. An 18-hole mini-golf course winding through the rainforest is also in the works. Accommodations are available by donation, with stays up to a week and longer stays by approval. Located at Lot 1, Stewart Creek Road, Daintree, QLD, 4873, the camp is approximately 30 minutes north of Mossman, 45 minutes north of Port Douglas, and 1 hour 35 minutes north of Cairns.
