
Camp Coorong, located approximately 10 kilometers south of Meningie, offers visitors an immersive experience into the rich heritage and culture of the Ngarrindjeri people. Established in 1985, this cultural center provides a range of activities designed to deepen understanding of Aboriginal history, arts, crafts, and the environment of the Coorong region. Visitors can participate in field trips to significant sites, learn traditional basket-weaving techniques, and hear stories about the land, waters, and local wildlife. The center also features a cultural museum and showcases contemporary Ngarrindjeri art.
