Located at 1A Doswell Terrace in Kadina, the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) offers free, community-based mental health support for children and adolescents up to 18 years old. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, CAMHS provides a range of services, including community mental health care, early detection and intervention, counseling, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, school support teams, and mental health education. Referrals are made via CAMHS Connect at 1300 222 647. Young people and their parents are encouraged to seek advice from their GP or current mental health service provider before contacting CAMHS, as services are provided to those who meet specific intake criteria.
