Caleys lookout track

Caleys Lookout Track, located in Bents Basin State Conservation Area near Penrith, offers a 1.2 km return walk through shaded bushland. The trail features stone, wooden, and metal steps, leading to Caleys Lookout in Gulguer Nature Reserve. At the lookout, picnic tables provide a perfect spot to enjoy expansive views over tall eucalypts and Bents Basin campground. The area is rich in Aboriginal heritage, associated with the Gundungurra, Dharawal, and Darug people, and is home to diverse flora and fauna.
