Caitlin's Retreat, located at 220 Laughing Waters Road in Eltham, Victoria, offers families with special needs children a serene environment to enjoy a much-needed break together. This beautiful property provides complimentary four-night stays, catering specifically to families whose children have severe physical and/or intellectual disabilities, ensuring they have access to suitable holiday facilities. Operating entirely on fundraising efforts and community support, Caitlin's Retreat features various projects aimed at enhancing the experience for children, including an enclosed decking area, vegetable garden with proposed wheelchair access, enclosed sandpit area, upgraded fences along the Yarra River, nature walk and picnic area, wheelchair access pathways, animal pens, and a tennis court.
