Burrin Burrin Reserve, nestled in the upper reaches of the Shoalhaven River catchment in southeastern New South Wales, is a 411-hectare sanctuary of rugged mountain terrain. Established in 1999, it features deep, fern-filled valleys and diverse eucalypt forests, including Ribbon Gum and Brown Barrel. The reserve is home to endangered species like the Greater Glider and Gang-gang Cockatoo, as well as the Powerful Owl and Superb Lyrebird. Following the 2019-2020 bushfires, Burrin Burrin has shown remarkable resilience, with native flora and fauna thriving once again.
