Established in 1964, Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum spans 164 hectares overlooking Lake Burrendong. Dedicated to conserving Australia's diverse flora, it showcases over 50,000 plants from more than 2,000 species, including Hakeas, Wattles, Eucalypts, Mallees, Casuarinas, and Mint Bushes. Visitors can enjoy picnic areas, walking tracks, and guided tours. The garden is open daily from sunrise to sunset, with free entry. Please note, the garden does not cater for people with access needs.
