Located at the corner of Ludgvan and Tregony Streets in Burra, South Australia, the Burra Police Lockup and Stables are integral to the Burra Heritage Trail. Established in 1847, this complex includes a police station, lockup, stables, and a police residence, reflecting Burra's mining era. The lockup served as a temporary gaol until 1856, with additional cells and stables added in 1873. Managed by the National Trust since 1976, access is included with the Burra Heritage Passport, available from the Burra Visitor Information Centre.
