Established in 1858, the Buninyong Masonic Hall at 604 Warrenheip Street is the third oldest lodge in the Ballarat area. The Sturt-Buninyong United Lodge No. 23, formed in 1998, continues a strong charity program supported by its annual fruit sale in January. Members are prominent in district activities and community organisations. The lodge meets on the third Saturday of each month at 7:30 pm, with a dress code of dinner suit and regalia.
