Bungarie Bay campground, nestled along the shores of Boolambayte Lake in Myall Lakes National Park, offers a tranquil retreat just a short drive from Bulahdelah. The campground features seven unpowered, marked sites suitable for tents, caravans, and camper trailers, all set amidst a serene casuarina and paperbark forest. Visitors can enjoy swimming, paddling, and birdwatching, with the area being part of the internationally recognized Ramsar Wetland. While fishing is prohibited in Boolambayte Lake, opportunities abound in nearby Myall Lake, accessible via a boat ramp and wharf at the Violet Hill campground and picnic area. Essential facilities include non-flush toilets and wood barbecues; however, visitors should bring their own drinking water, cooking water, and firewood. Please note that park entry fees apply, and pets are not permitted.
