Bungaree is a rural locality on King Island, Tasmania, approximately 26 kilometers north of Currie. The 2016 census recorded a population of 24 residents. The name "Bungaree" is believed to be an Aboriginal word meaning "my country." The area is predominantly zoned as Rural Resource, with smaller portions designated for Environmental Management and Open Space. Bungaree is accessible via Route B25 (North Road), which runs through the locality from south to north.
