Nestled at Nielsen Park Beach in Bargara, the Bundaberg Surf Life Saving Club has been safeguarding beachgoers since 1921. Celebrating its centenary in 2021, the club boasts a membership of 490, including 206 juniors aged 5-15 years. Dedicated volunteers and the Australian Lifeguard Service oversee approximately 30,000 visitors each season from September to May. Beyond lifesaving, the club offers function, bar, and conference facilities with stunning ocean views. Visitors can enjoy a range of events and activities, making it a vibrant community hub.
