Budds Mare lookout

Budds Mare Lookout, nestled within Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, offers a serene picnic spot amidst lush bushland above the Apsley River Valley. Visitors are treated to panoramic views of the World Heritage-listed rainforest, with sights extending to Paradise Rocks, Round Mountain, and Point Lookout. The area provides access to the Budds Mare campground and a challenging 14km return walking track leading to the Riverside visitor area. Given the steep terrain, it's advisable to start early and come prepared with sufficient supplies.
