Nestled at 25 Banya Street in Bongaree, the Bongaree Meeting Place is a historic building that has been a cornerstone of the community since the 1880s. Originally serving as a school, it later became a Methodist church and, more recently, a Masonic Lodge. In 2022, the City of Moreton Bay purchased the site to preserve its rich history. After temporary improvements, the venue reopened in May 2025 as a community meeting room, offering a space for small meetings, activities, and events. The building accommodates 20-30 people, providing a welcoming environment for gatherings.
