Overlooking the ancient Baiame’s Ngunnhu (Brewarrina Fish Traps), the Brewarrina Aboriginal Cultural Museum offers an immersive experience into First Nations culture, country, and history. Guided by local Ngemba, Ualarai, Weilwan, and Baranbinja people, visitors explore exhibits featuring Aboriginal stone and wooden artefacts, a photographic display from the 1800s to the present, and a mission display showcasing life on an Aboriginal reserve. The museum also offers Aboriginal art and crafts for sale. Open Monday to Saturday, it provides guided tours of the centre and the National-Heritage listed fish traps.
