Brangayne of Orange

Brangayne of Orange is a family-owned vineyard producing distinctive cool-climate wines from its high-elevation location. Specialising in Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, and Pinot Noir, Brangayne is known for its signature Tristan blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot) and Isolde Reserve Chardonnay. The cool climate offers ideal conditions for premium grape production, combining generous fruit flavour, acid, and length in wines of intensity and elegance. The long ripening period and deep, rich volcanic soil position Brangayne in a premier location for producing cool-climate wines of the highest calibre. Brangayne came into the Hoskins family in the 1930s, and for sixty years, Edgar and Winsome Hoskins and later Don and Pamela Hoskins grew apples, pears, peaches, and cherries on the property. Then, in 1994, the fruit trees were replaced by wine grapes. Bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment, as customer numbers (including children) are limited to a maximum of 18 to comply with social distancing requirements. Weekend bookings commence on the hour.
